Léo graduated in Psychology at Paris Descartes University in 2010, and earned a master in Cognitive Science at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. He obtained his PhD in cognitive science at Sorbonne Paris Cité University under the supervision of Valérie Gyselinck and Pascale Piolino. His PhD work dealt with the embodied and grounded view of concepts, memory, language, and spatial representations, using a wide range of methodology (virtual reality, rTMS, EEG).
Since 2017, he is a post docotoral researcher in the Barsalou Lab at the University of Glasgow. His post doctoral research addresses the situated and grounded approach of health behaviours, and the embodied nature of abstract concepts.
